Which Phuket Zipline Parks Have Closed?

Cable Jungle Adventure is the big one, listed as temporarily closed for years with no sign of reopening. The Blue Tree lagoon zipline closed with the lagoon in 2024, and Jungle Bungy in Kathu is gone as well. Seven zipline parks are open and flying daily. Several zipline and adventure names in Phuket no longer operate, and a surprising amount of the internet has not caught up. Old blog posts, reseller listings and even live-looking websites still send people to parks that stopped taking bookings years ago. Here is the accurate list, checked August 2026, and where to go instead.

Cable Jungle Adventure, Si Sunthon

The one people still ask about. It marketed itself as Phuket's original zipline canopy experience, 21 stations and around two kilometres of cable in the jungle near Thalang, and for years it was the name that came up first. It is now listed as temporarily closed with no reopening date, and nothing suggests that is about to change. Its TripAdvisor rating had collapsed to 1.6 out of 5 across 98 reviews before it stopped, which tells its own story about the last years of operation.

Be careful here, because this brand has an unusually messy afterlife. There is a website on its old domain that looks like a working business but is a template shell with a placeholder phone number and no real address, and several reseller sites still take enquiries for it. If you have found a page selling Cable Jungle tickets, that is not the park.

If it was on your list, the nearest equivalents today are Flying Hanuman, the longest-running canopy operator on the island, or Jungle Xtrem in Chalong if what appealed was the raw jungle course rather than the polish.

Blue Tree Phuket, the lagoon zipline, Cherngtalay

Blue Tree opened in 2019 with a zipline running over its crystal lagoon, alongside a climbing wall and a ninja course, and it became a fixture for families on the west coast. The lagoon and everything attached to it closed permanently on 1 August 2024. The Blue Tree site itself still exists as a dry lifestyle village, so the brand is alive, but the zipline is not. For a family day with water involved you now want Andamanda, and for an actual zipline, Skyline Flying Kamala is the closest park to that side of the island.

Jungle Bungy Jump, Kathu

Not a zipline, but it belongs on this page because it was the other adrenaline name in Kathu and people still search for it alongside the ziplines. It is permanently closed. There is no bungy operating in Phuket in its place. The nearest thing to that specific drop-in-your-stomach moment is the 23 metre free fall jump at Jungle Xtrem, which is a controlled descent rather than a bungy but is the closest the island now offers.

While researching this page we kept finding recommendations that do not belong to Phuket at all, so for the record. Flying Squirrels is a zipline in Mae Rim, near Chiang Mai, and still operating there. Skyline Jungle Luge is also Chiang Mai, at Doi Saket, and while the company does run a Phuket park it is the one at Kamala and there is no luge track on it. Xtreme Adventures Phuket is simply a common misspelling of Jungle Xtrem in Chalong. And Tarzan Adventure exists in both Phuket and Pattaya under similar names with different owners, so check which one a listing means before you book a transfer to the wrong end of the country.

Phuket's adventure scene turns over faster than most, and the survivors are in good shape: the open parks sit between 4.0 and 4.9, and the two highest rated of them, Erawan and Hanuman World, hold nearly five thousand Google reviews between them. What is genuinely worth knowing is how much dead information is still ranking, including live-looking websites for parks that closed years ago. Treat any Phuket zipline recommendation without a recent date on it with suspicion, this page included, and check it against the table below before you hand anyone money.
