Zipline Phuket: Everything You Need to Know
Phuket has more zipline parks than anywhere else in southern Thailand, and they are genuinely different animals rather than seven versions of the same afternoon. One hangs above Patong with a 700 metre line out over the sea, one is a full adventure resort with a roller zipline and a luge track, and one is a French-built challenge course with a 23 metre free fall.
What happens on the day
Most parks collect you from your hotel, and once you arrive the guides fit your helmet, harness and gloves and run through the safety briefing before anyone leaves the ground. How long you fly depends on where you booked: the short Kamala courses are done inside an hour and a half, while the big canopy circuits keep you up there for a good three hours. If you want one enormous ride, Erawan Patong holds the longest line on the island at 700 metres, straight out over the bay. Which zipline in Phuket is the best?⌄
That depends entirely on what you want out of the day, which is why our comparison page exists. If you are after one enormous ride then Erawan Patong has the longest line on the island at 700 metres, running straight out over Patong Bay. Hanuman World is the bigger and more varied day, since the roller zipline, skywalk and new luge track sit alongside the main course. How much does ziplining in Phuket cost?⌄
Short courses run somewhere between 1,300 and 1,900 baht, and the big all-in packages between 2,700 and 3,500 baht a head, checked October 2026. That price nearly always covers hotel transfer, equipment, guides and insurance. Whether it covers a meal varies from park to park, and that single detail is what trips up most people trying to compare two prices.
Is ziplining in Phuket safe?⌄
The parks listed here are built to European EN 15567 standards on Petzl-certified equipment, and you are clipped in at every platform. Several of them go further and run continuous-belay systems, meaning it is physically impossible to be unattached from the line at any point on the course. Age and weight limits apply, usually 4 to 80 years with a 120 kilogram ceiling, and they are checked at registration rather than taken on trust.
Do I need to book in advance?⌄
Through high season, roughly November to March, yes, because the parks run fixed pickup rounds and the popular ones fill up. A day ahead is normally enough to be safe, and booking early tends to get you onto the morning round, which is both cooler and quieter.
